The cellular homeostasis is manteined because the semi permeable property of the cell membrane. If it does not work properly, the cell could die for lack of nutrients or excess of water, for example. Some desease examples are: hemolytic anemia or tissue necrosis.

    Explanation:

Cell homeostasis is the capability of maintein a dynamic balance with the enviroment.

The exchange of water and nutrients/solute between the cell and the enviroment is regulated by the chemosmotic theory.

In the haemolitic anemia the erytrocites form is abnormal and they are destroyed prematurely when pass trhought the capilars. In the tissue necrosis, the cell is not cappable of maintain the integrity of the cell membrane components (lipids and proteins, principally).
