A cell treated with the drug taxol will become stuck in telophase phase. Telophase is the fifth stage of mitosis, it is also the last stage. During this phase, chromosomes sets assemble at opposite poles and a nuclear envelope is formed around each set. Telophase which is the final stage of replication of DNA and the cell nucleus will be inhibited by taxol.
