Is human blood acidic, basic or neutral?

    Normally, the human blood is said to be slightly basic since it as a pH range of about 7.35 to 7.45. The taste of the blood is not bitter and not sour either thus it is considered as a weak alkaline solution. It has a value near the neutral level because it contains buffer systems in it.
