Rules to using a light microscope

To be honest I got done with using a microscope about a month ago but if you want answers i'd just search it up online

The rules to using a light microscope is you should check that the lowest power objective is in position and you should make sure that the iris diaphragm is completely open. also the view from the eyepiece you are looking through should be evenly bright.
