What are examples of tertiary consumers in Minnesota?

    tertiary consumer. Word Origin. noun Ecology. a carnivore at the topmost level in a food chain that feeds on other carnivores; an animal that feeds only on secondary consumers. I lived in MN so i would know that a bald eagle living in a nest over a lake would be a good example. because the eagle has no predators and plenty of fish to eat. = )
