Living organisms and non-living systems have numerous characteristics in common, but only organisms - are composed of atoms, composed of cells, have the ability to utilize energy, have the ability to self-replicate, or have the ability to move?

    It is true that only living organisms have the ability to utilize energy, have the ability to self-replicate, or have the ability to move. Non-living systems also has atoms but they do not have cells thus they do not have the ability to the things organisms can do.
