    Earth is tilted towards the sun at 23.5 degrees. Due to this tilting, seasons are formed. There are many planets in the solar system where no or very low tilting so there is no seasons are present. This tilting of earth formed seasons which allows us to grow many crops on the land. The range of tilting of earth is between 22.1 to 24.5 degrees. So the average tilting of earth is 23.5 degree.
