In multicellular organisms the cell cycle produces groups of cells that perform the same fuction. what are these groups of cells called?

    The group of cells that perform the same kind of function is called tissues. This is an organizational level that is in between cells and an organ. In other words, this the composing group of cells that make up an organ. The answer to this problem is tissues.
