The organelles are the chloroplasts. To this phenomenon where the cytoplasm moves in a direction within the cell we call cyclosis, or cytoplasmic streaming. This happens so that nutrients, genetic material, organelles, metabolites and others can be accessed by the whole cell or can better fulfil their purpose. In this case, the elodea, the chloroplasts are pushed to the cells' walls so they can more easily access to sunlight.
