What happens to the DNA helix when a cell reproduces?

    Answer : When a cell reproduces the creation of a DNA copy occurs ... This creates two copies of the DNA in the reproducing cell in the form of a new nucleus inside the cell. During reproduction, the parent cell divides to give rise to two cells each having a nucleus with similar DNA.
