    Similarities between DNA and RNA

    DNA and RNA are alike due to the following reasons:

    DNA and RNA, both acts as hereditary material for living organism. Both of them are nucleic acid which is composed of four bases and a sugar. Both have phosphate back-ground. Both plays a vital role in the gene expression process which leads to the formation of protein. The site of the location of both DNA and RNA is the nucleus.
