Crossing Over is the process whereby nonsister Chromatids exchange genetic material. Its where Homologous Chromosomes are pulled to opposite poles of the cell. Sister chromatids are pulled to opposite poles of the cell and the Homologous Chromosome pairs align randomly along the metaphase plate
