Explain why human abo blood types exhibit codominance and pleiotropy.

    This is because the alleles for the blood group phenotype exhibit co-dominance. Co-dominance is when alleles for the blood groups are both expressed as phenotypes for individuals with both alleles. Out of the human blood group alleles A, B, and O, A and B show co-dominance. O is recessive
