The correct answer is Mitochondria. That's why it is said that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. Cellular respiration is a process in which the mitochondria converts nutrients from food into energy created in the form of ATP and ADP. This energy is then transfered to wherever you need it to have a proper metabolism and keep your bodily functions normal.
