Based on the isolated bacteria and the gross examination of the resultant colonies, Anna’s bacterial infection was caused by Gram-negative rod-shaped species. Therefore, the possible bacteria species that can be eliminated are the Gram-positive bacteria. The following gram-positive bacteria that be eradicated are Streptococcus pneumonia, Streptococcus pyrogenes, Bacillus megaterium, and Micrococcus luteus.
