    Umbra

    Explanation:

Total lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, the moon and the Earth align in a straight line with Earth at the center. The moon does not have it's own light and reflects the light of the sun falling on its surface. During lunar eclipse, the earth blocks the sunlight and the moon passes through Earth's shadow.

During total lunar eclipse, the moon passes through the Earth's umbra. Umbra is the dark, inner portion of the shadow. During penumbral lunar eclipse, the moon passes through Earth's penumbra.
