    Drip irrigation is used to decrease the use of water, as it works in the principle of deep penetration also useful in giving a good yield. The water use is much lesser than that of the sprinkler irrigation. It delivers water near the root of the plants also avoids the leaf moisture. Less moisture means reduced aphid infestation. Flood or furrow irrigation, in this process the field is flooded with water and also waited till the ground absorbs the water otherwise called the process as seepage.
