Which plane shows brain structures as they would be seen from the front?

    This question is in terms of the anatomical planes of section of the brain wherein the clinical significance of which is the view of the brain on imaging such as CT-scan or MRI. The plane which shows brain structures as they would be seen from the front is the coronal plane.

    Other planes are the horizontal and the sagittal plane which shows the brain structure from above and from the sides respectively.
