Starling force describes the fluid movement due to filtration across the wall of a capillary is dependent between the hydrostatic pressure of gradient and the oncotic pressure gradient across capillary.

    Explanation:

In the step 1 the starling forces describe the fluid movement between the blood vessels and interstitial spaces. this transfer of fluid is determined by the balance of hydrostatic, osmotic and oncotic pressures.

In the step 2 the blood supply through the capillaries with the adjacent lymphatic vessels is called microcirculation. These capillaries performs functions like exchange of nutrients and waste products in the tissues and fluid exchange between the vascular and interstitial spaces.

In the step 3 the fluid accumulates the interstitial space as capillary filtration increases the amount of fluid eliminated by lymphatic drainage. Due to this causes swelling on the body produced by the expansion of interstitial space.

Thus, the three organs are listed in three steps that need to be evaluated because of their ability to promote such edema.
