Psychrotrophs are those bacteria which can tolerate cold temperature and have optimum growth above 15 degree Celsius. Halophiles prefer high salt concentration. Mesophiles prefer temperatures with a average of 37 degree Celsius. Anaerobes grow in absence of oxygen.
