While Wellington (out west) and East Boynton Beach receive the same amount sunshine in a day. However, Wellington has higher ambient temperatures that East Boynton Beach, This is because oceanic water near the beach absorbs much of the heat hence keeping the ambient temperatures of East Boynton Beach a few degrees lower. It is important to note that water has a high heat capacity hence requires the absorption of much heat to have unit measure its temperature raised by one degree.
