The flat Earth thoery in the article fails to be scientific since

1. gravity exists. gravity pulls objects toward the core of Earth and if Earth is flat, satelites and the moon will not be able to orbit around Earth.

2. We can tell that Earth is not flat by observing the moon and sun. If Earth is flat, there will be no timezone. One side of Earth will receive sunlight and the other will not, so obviosuly, Earth is not flat.
