Why would infectious myringitis be of concern in a preschool?

    Infectious myringitis is caused by the same viruses or bacteria that cause middle ear infections. In this disease, vesicles develop on the tympanic membrane. It is a communicable disease and is very common among young children as compared to adults. So, a child who has this and attends preschool can share this condition and spread it to others.
