    c) regulating water loss and gaseous exchange.

    Explanation:

Transpiration is movement of water through a plant and evaporation of water from aerial parts like the leaves, stems and flowers.

Stomata is then the tiny opening pore mostly found on the under surface of plants leaves.

    They serve two functions:

    1) transpiration

    2) they regulate gaseous exchange.

Air enters into the plant through these openings and water goes into the atmosphere through them as well.
