Majority of cellular respiration occurs in Mitochondria.

    Explanation:

Mitochondria is also known as the production house of the energy. Two processes occur inside the mitochondria. They are kerb cycle and electron transport chain. Mitochondria synthesises ATP for our cell that further provides the energy to carry out various life processes. ATP is nothing but act as the energy currency in the cell. It is very necessary for cellular respiration as well as for undergoing various life processes. In the cellular respiration the chemical energy is converted in to ATP. The energy required by the body to pump the blood trough the veins as well as to inhale the air into the lungs is received from the cellular respiration.
