Clonal selection can be defined as methods or processes that shows (describes) tthe way lymphocytes do react or respond to the various different types of antigens present in a particular body. Clonal selection is of the notion that lymphocytes are taken during antigen presentation.
Explanation:
Clonal selection is important as it is sometimes used during negative selection during T cell maturation. it is believe to be a major cause mutations of antigen-binding affinity in memory cells during clonal expansion.
