Photosynthetic organism growth is limited by nutrients which are the nitrogen and phosphorus. Too much nutrients affect the growth of algae. Too many algae can cause an algae bloom. An alga does not live long and can die immediately which causes decomposition that gets too much oxygen in the waters. When oxygen decreases in the water living organisms in it will be affected.
