Does hemoglobin combine with oxygen in areas where oxygen level is high

    Haemoglobin combines with oxygen where there are high partial pressures of oxygen such as in the lungs and dissociates it where there are low oxygen partial pressures such as the muscles

    it combines in the following equation: Hb + 4O2 ⇔ Hb. 4O2
