After observing the flowers and bees in her garden, a scientist hypothesized that as new flowers bloomed on her rosebush, there would also be an increase in the amount of bees. To test her hypothesis, she recorded the flower and bee population sizes in her garden for 10 weeks during the spring. The averages from her data are displayed in the graph below.

It will appear that if there is an increase in the amount of food available for the bees there will be an abundance of bees

    Explanation:

Although there will be an abundance of bees there will also be as many bees as the environment can support or as many predators that are able to keep the bee population in check.

The bee population will increase but it will arrive at a plateu for a few reasons:

The amount of bees the colony can and will support before they break away from the hive. The amount of bees the environment can support. e. g available habitats, water source. The predator prey relationship will be kept at a balance

In conclusion, the bee population will increase with more flowers but it will also reach a plateau no matter how many more flowers the scientists add to her garden.
