A pro is that its cleaner for the environment than fossil fuels
but a con is that its non-renewable
also its hard to dispose of

Some advantages
Produce relatively low amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2). Well-developed engineering knowledge. Single plant can generate high amount of power.
Some disadvantages
Radioactive waste, an extremely dangerous byproduct, needs careful monitoring for thousands of years. Accidents may create havoc on a large scale. Uranium, the primary energy source, is estimated to be available only for the next 30 to 60 years without the use of high-efficiency breeder reactors.
