Which cell would be most efficient at absorbing nutrients? A cell with a 8:1 surface area to volume ratio or a cell with a 5:1 surface area to volume ratio? Why?

    The cell that would be most efficient at absorbing nutrients would be the former. The one with the higher surface area to volume ratio, 8:1. The higher the SA:Volume ratio they have, the more efficient this process can be. Hope this answers the question.
