    Cubozoans or the box jellies

    Explanation:

These cubozoan or the box jellies is the second class of cnidaria comprising the classic jellyfish. The first class are the Scyphozoans, or "true jellies. The box jellies have as many as two dozen eyes that are not primitive, light-sensing patches of cells but are true eyeballs that are made up of lenses, retinas and corneas. These eyes are paired around the circumference of their bells giving them a 360-degree range of vision. They function in detection of prey and predator and also mainly to maintain the box jelly orientation in water.
