Interspecific competition is a type of competition between two different species. The species compete for the life sources like food or space. For example, the two species like leopards and lions share the same ecological niche (like African savannah). Both species feed on the same prey, so they negatively affect one another because they will have less food. Thus, they are in competition with each other.
