There are 3 type of growth forms in a sponge first, Asconoids; are small, simple forms with a tube-shaped body, second Syconoids; also have a tubular body whose wall is much thicker and highly folded into a series of incurrent canals that deliver water into radial canals lined with choanocytes. Third Leuconoid: the largest and most complex ones - permits for an increase in body size.
