What role do mutations play in the formation of cancerous tissues

    Mutation in cells means that a change is caused in a genes structure. Due to mutation in cell the genetic information changes and cell starts to grow and divide without being controlled. Alot of mutation is needed for a cell to become cancerous. A cell becomes cancerous due to mutation in genes. Mutation affects cell division and growth. Mutation can be either inherited from parents or it could be acquired (including cigarrete, radiation and diet).
