    Initial velocity faster than final velocity

    Explanation:

    Positive acceleration will increase velocity and negative acceleration will decrease velocity. Therefore a negative acceleration will make the final velocity slower than the original. The time answers don't have anything to do with the velocity and acceleration relationship.
