Answer: Water from streams that flows into larger rivers.

Runoff can be defined as the flow of water over the land as surface water. The runoff water is not absorbed as groundwater and it does not evaporate. Water being flowing over the surface becomes the part of a water body. The source of runoff water includes precipitation, snow melt, irrigation, streams of river, drains or sewers. The water being runoff over a surface causes soil erosion as it takes away layers of soil along with it.

Water from streams that flows into larger rivers is the phrase, which describes runoff because the stream of water will move in rapid speed over the surface. Hence, the water instead of being absorbed by the ground will flow and may become the part of the larger rivers.
