I dont know what the why is for, Can you clarify it?
But here are their uses.

For Food - Acetic Acid
For Antiseptic - Ethyl Alcohol, Acetic Acid
For Fuel - Gasoline, Ethyl alchohol, LPG, Kerosene
For Beverage - Ethyl alcohol
For Cleaner - Acetone, Kerosene
