The Biuret's solution will impart a dark violet blue to a pinkish purple color to the solution if positive. Benedict's indicator will turn the solution aqua blue if negative or yellow/green/brick red if positive. Iodine will turn the solution blue to black if positive. The paper bag will have a greasy/oily residue upon application of the sample.
