A carcinogenic mutation is not inheritable. What could be the reason for this?

    Carcinogenic mutation is not inheritable as they are not genetic. For the offspring to inherit something, that thing should be rooted from the sperm and egg. Carcinogenic mutations are environmentally acquired that cannot be passed on through the reproduction and DNA.
