What dose the leftover of the exploded star produce

Stars have various different end-states. One such possibility is a Black-hole, which is a cluster of mass so dense that light cannot escape from. Another possibility is a Neutron star, which is a dense cluster of Neutrons spinning rapidly. These are the two most common types of dead-stars.
