The two types of the dip-slip faults is the normal faults and the reverse faults.

    Explanation:

In the dip slip faults, the motion of the hanging wall blocks relative to the footwall block occurs in the direction parallel to the dip of the fault plane. the different between the dip slip faults are in the normal fault wall is moving the hanging downward relatively to the footwall.

The normal faults accommodate extension deformation. In the reverse faults, the hanging wall is moving upwards relatively to footwall. Reverse faults accommodate contraction deformation. A detachment is a shallow dipping normal fault. A thrust is shallow dipping reverse fault.
