What would most likely be the result of a malfunctioning liver?

    The answer is •buildup of toxins.

    One of the liver functions is to process different toxins and remove them from the organism. Although called a toxin processor, it is not impermeable to the toxins itself. As the liver is a primary organ for drug activation and detoxification, malfunction of the liver will be manifested in buildup of toxins.
