Why do athetes ofteneat las of carbohydrates the day betore a competiton?

    Carbohydrates contain all the necessary nutrients your body needs to thrive. It's your body's main source of energy and when you work out like an athlete you lose many nutrients you need so by eating carbohydrates it replenish your body and provides you with plenty of energy.
