    The answer is C. The bacterial will produce human hemoglobin and its own bacterial proteins.

    Bacteria have transcriptional and translational machinery for production of their own proteins. If the human gene coding for hemoglobin is inserted into a bacterial plasmid, it is one protein more bacteria must produce. So, they will produce human hemoglobin but they will produce their own proteins as well.
