If you find greywacke in the place where it formed

    Greywacke is formed from the deposition of muddy fine sand in deep water. These sediments become deeply buried and under go change by being compressed but not so much that it becomes metamorphic. It is found everywhere and makes up the main mountain ranges in both the north and south islands.
