    Q fever is an infectious disease caused by Coxiella burnetii. Coxiella burnetii is a bacterium that affects both humans and other animals. Q fever is spread to human through animals like sheep, cows etc. Q fever is a disease (mild disease) with flu like symptoms includes cough, fever, nausea etc.

    Coxiella burnetii commonly found in goat, sheep and cattle its also including pets like dogs and cats. These animals transmit the bacteria through the urine, milk etc. when these substances dry, the bacteria floats in the air so the infection is transmit through the lungs when we inhale contaminated air.
