What would happen to the membrane potential of a cell that is permeable only?

    Assuming your saying that the membrane becomes permeable to all of the extracellular fluid then the membrane potential would become 0mV, as there would be no way for the cell to keep a difference in ionic concentrations between intra-cellular and extra-cellular fluid.
