Imagine that you are a scientist studying DNA. You measure the number of cytosines and thymines in a small strand of DNA. There are 45 cytosines and 55 thymines. How many guanines are there? How many adenines are there?

    Easy, for every Adenine there will be another complementary Thymine on the other strand of the double helix, for every cytosine there will be a guanine, Look at this pic so its easier to understand

    The answer is 45 guanines and 55 adenines
