What kind of molecule is the adapter that couples amino acid sequences to the sequence of bases in the mrna?

    An adapter molecule is usually a "bridge" between other molecules, often one that allows a signal to be transmitted. They are double stranded DNA molecule which is used to link the ends of two other DNA molecules. Hope this answers the question.
